X-ray diagnostics of the chronic gastric volvulus: a series of cases

INTRODUCTION: Volvulus of the stomach is a rare disease that can lead to serious consequences, including death patients. Among all volvulus various parts gastrointestinal tract, corresponds 0.5% cases. Chronic volvulus, while being detected timely, be successfully treated conservatively or surgically without leading life threatening conditions. So diagnosis chronic gastric an important and topical problem. OBJECTIVE: The aim study was analysis radiological data patients with volvulus. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Results chest, esophagus X-ray examination 23 were analyzed. RESULTS: results are described. In 9 cases organo-axial detected, in 12 — mesenteric-axial 2 had combined type inversion. 3 total hiatal hernia, 6 tumors, perigastritis, 5 observed after abdominal surgery.
